Bashy Quraishy: From Freedom of Expression in DK to the Danish Peoples Party hypocritical leadership

Bashy Quraishy Commentary for January & February 2009: Check out Bashy´s home page - click on: www.bashy.dk Today Denmark has been subject to incursions into its former fair tradition of criticizing authorities, be it the Prime Minister or even the Queen. Why? Because the Danish Peoples Party has taken the present government, and thus the Danish nation, hostage. During Apartheid in South Africa the then humanistic Denmark, along with other anti-racist regimes, supported Nelson Mandela by meeting ANC´s plea to the world to effectuate a boycot of the, at the time, outdated, brutal barbarian state South Africa. That was indeed a noble Danish act. But in the entirely different atmosphere today the Islamophobic ruler of Denmark, The Danish Peoples Party, has erroneously and hypocritically criticized Bashy Quraishy for "urging" a boycot of Denmark - even though Bashy only mentioned boycot as a possibility. Bashy differentiates between "can" and "should". Quraishy defends anyones right to use the democratic, totally legal and fair, political tool The Boycot - even though Bashy himself only mentioned this as a possibility. All of which exposes the leadership of The Danish Peoples Party as unabashedly hypocritical.
