SOG Powerlock vs Leatherman Charge: charge the Champ Part 1

Here is Part 1 of 2 SOG EOD Powerlock B61 model multi-tool (MT) goes against my point of reference for MT full-size, the Leatherman Charge TTI. This is of course my Cabelas special camo edition version. This is the version EOD Powerlock Black Oxide. In this 2 part series that puts them Nutnfancy against each other in terms of size, weight, ease of use, comfort, strength, flexibility and functionality, carrying case, quality and price. You guessed it: the Charge TTi (or AL, ALX, Ti) winsin most, but not all categories. The SOG Powerlock suffers heavy handles, less fussy and funny and attractive tool that provides the driver with ¼ of a lock, a small chisel-ground blade pen knife, a heavy coat and less versatile, and its 1.2 ounces heavier. Thats not to say that the SOG Powerlock is bad: it offers a lot of strength to use his connection with the cam, is to rapidly deploy the weapons, has a good variety of instruments (including a pair of scissors and more punches), ¼ can use sockets, and his long-cheaper than the Leatherman. But once again, the tax, though: Take for example the fast and strong removable clip which can really transform (daily wear), tool pocket EDC (although a 8.2!). At least now, it's hard to beat the speed, ease of use, the blades good, excellent coat, efficiency and versatility of the weight of the Leatherman Charge series of bits and return home as champion in the comparison. SOG Powerlock EOD Nutnfancy sympathy for Scale:5 ...
