Vaasa

The foundation and the name of the city of Vaasa and the Swedish king Charles IX, even though today the city is part of Finland. The city has always been an important center of education. In fact, the first city of Vaasa in Finland to have a library. The main objective of the "Bragegården," an open-air museum, has been the creation and maintenance of a typical agricultural east of Bothnia. Contains a total of 23 buildings, some of which are not connected with agriculture, asFishing has played an important role in the life of the local population of this coastal region. Fortunately, through the Museum, Vaasa was able to retain much of the Finnish Swedish peasant culture of the past.
