DELOS Greece

In ancient times was the island of the Cyclades, Delos, a flourishing center of Greek culture. Greece's greatest archaeological site includes the whole island since 1872 and has participated in numerous archaeologists. Greek legend has it that this desert island, now was the birthplace of the god Apollo and Artemis. With breathtaking ocean views, the amphitheater dates from the third century BC and located about 5,500 spectators. Not all the temples on the islanddedicated to Greek gods. A particularly well-preserved sanctuary of the "strange gods" belonged to a beautiful temple of the Egyptian goddess Isis was dedicated. The lower plateau on the western side of the hill Kithos contain many important religious sites.
