PREHISTORIC MALTA

Malta temples are older than the pyramids of Egypt. In fact, the small Mediterranean island is a veritable archaeological treasure, and its great prehistoric temple complex is situated in Tarxien. The remains of the religious sanctuary were discovered stumbled in 1914 when farmers in a giant stone blocks in plowing their fields.
